Indivisible Baton Rouge believes that civic engagement, public participation, and fair representation matter. Democracy depends on every one of us showing up, speaking out, and making our voices heard.

On May 21, 2026, Indivisible Baton Rouge organizer Lisa King testified before the Louisiana House and Governmental Affairs Committee in opposition to SB 121, a congressional redistricting proposal that would reduce Louisiana from two majority-Black congressional districts to one.
