So, we’ve heard from a few elected officials that the protests planned on October 18th are going to be people who hate America and are pro-Hamas antifa revolutionaries. As per usual, the regime is blatantly misrepresenting the facts.
We aren’t protesting because we hate America. We are protesting because we LOVE America, and everything it represents. We are protesting to protect America from a regime that threatens all that she stands for. We are protesting because we love it here, and we refuse to sit idly by and watch all of the values America stands for be corrupted.
Freedom of speech, freedom to dissent against our government, freedom of the press, freedom from persecution for religious beliefs (or lack thereof). We seek to uphold the promise that is affixed to the Statue of Liberty: “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.”
We are not protesting against the Stars and Stripes, nor against the red, white, and blue American Dream. No. We are protesting that dream being stolen from us by people who disguise authoritarianism in Star Spangled lies.
On October 18th, join us in a Celebration of America- and all she epitomizes- as we resist those who are trying so hard to tear down everything about her that we hold dear.
Wear your red, white, and blue. Bring your flags and raise them high. As proud Americans, resisting the actions of authoritarian rulers is not just our right but our responsibility and privilege. We must uphold the values our founders and veterans fought so hard for, which make America the great nation we love today.
