DESCRIPTION:Indivisible BR has partnered with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. We appreciate your donation. \n\n\n\nToday I learned about efficient food drives. \n\n\n\nOption 1: You drive to the store\, pay retail for a food item\, maybe $2 or $3; bring it home\, and drive to a collection location. Someone from the sponsoring organization collects the food once a week\, maybe at the end of the drive. The food is delivered to the BR Food Bank to be stored\, then sorted\, and then distributed. Five trips\, $3\, one food product. \n\n\n\nOption 2: You click the Donation link above and donate $2 or $3. The BR Food Bank has immediate access to the funds\, which they use to buy food in bulk. Zero trips\, $3\, 3 food products. \n\n\n\nNo donation is too small. Even $5 makes a difference.
