When those in power promote policies or rhetoric that threaten equality\, justice\, and the rule of law\, silence becomes complicity.  \n\n\n\nPeaceful protest allows us to amplify the voices of the marginalized\, hold leaders accountable\, and affirm the core values that define our nation: freedom\, dignity\, and respect for all people. History has shown that nonviolent resistance—rooted in courage and solidarity—has the power to bring about real\, lasting change.  \n\n\n\nWe protest not out of hatred\, but out of hope. We gather not to divide\, but to demand unity based on truth and justice. Born in the streets\, carried by millions in chants and on posters\, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares\, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together. \n\n\n\nThe president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America\, we don’t have kings\, and we won’t back down against chaos\, corruption\, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us. \n\n\n\n Location & March Route \n\n\n\nGather at 10:00 AM in front of Pennington Biomedical Research Center (6400 Perkins Road). \n\n\n\nFrom there\, we will march down the sidewalk on Perkins Road toward Kenilworth Parkway. \n\n\n\nThe march will continue with a right turn onto Kenilworth\, crossing at Irene Boulevard. \n\n\n\nWe will then march back up Kenilworth Parkway toward Perkins Rd\, concluding at the corner of Perkins and Kenilworth\, in front of Perkins Road Park. \n\n\n\n Rally at Perkins Road Park \n\n\n\nAt the march’s end\, we will hold a rally featuring a few speakers and an informational desk where participants can learn more about how to get involved. The rally will wrap up at 12:00 PM. \n\n\n\n Parking & Amenities \n\n\n\nFree parking is available at Perkins Road Park\, which also provides easy access to public restrooms. \n\n\n\nSecurity and a police presence will be on site to ensure a safe and peaceful event. \n\n\n\nA core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events.
