Someone from the sponsoring organization collects the food once a week\, maybe at the end of the drive. The food is delivered to the BR Food Bank to be stored\, then sorted\, and then distributed. Born in the streets\, carried by millions in chants and on posters\, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares\, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together. \n\n\n\nThe president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America\, we don’t have kings\, and we won’t back down against chaos\, corruption\, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us. \n\n\n\n Location & March Route \n\n\n\nGather at 10:00 AM in front of Pennington Biomedical Research Center (6400 Perkins Road). \n\n\n\nFrom there\, we will march down the sidewalk on Perkins Road toward Kenilworth Parkway. \n\n\n\nThe march will continue with a right turn onto Kenilworth\, crossing at Irene Boulevard. \n\n\n\nWe will then march back up Kenilworth Parkway toward Perkins Rd\, concluding at the corner of Perkins and Kenilworth\, in front of Perkins Road Park. \n\n\n\n Rally at Perkins Road Park \n\n\n\nAt the march’s end\, we will hold a rally featuring a few speakers and an informational desk where participants can learn more about how to get involved. The rally will wrap up at 12:00 PM. \n\n\n\n Parking & Amenities \n\n\n\nFree parking is available at Perkins Road Park\, which also provides easy access to public restrooms. \n\n\n\nSecurity and a police presence will be on site to ensure a safe and peaceful event. \n\n\n\nA core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind\, including those legally permitted\, should not be brought to events.
