DESCRIPTION:LET’S BOOGIE AND SEND JAMIE TO DC \n\n\n\nDate: Friday\, August 28\, 2026 \n\n\n\nTime: 6:00-8:00 PM \n\n\n\nPlace: The Guru at 1857 Government St.\, Baton Rouge \n\n\n\nWhat is it? \n\n\n\nIt’s a fun evening of BINGO with disco music between the rounds! \n\n\n\nWe will play at least 5 rounds\, and the winner of each round will be awarded a prize (gift cards\, gifts\, other) \n\n\n\nSince we will serve alcoholic drinks\, this will be an adults-only event. *An adults-only event* \n\n\n\nWhat will it “cost”? \n\n\n\nThere are no “costs”; instead\, there are suggested donations that will benefit the Jamie Davis campaign. 100% of the donations will go directly to the Jamie Davis campaign. See info below. \n\n\n\nHow do I contribute my donation? \n\n\n\nThere are two ways that you may make your donation: \n\n\n\n1. Once you arrive for the event\, we can assist you in navigating to the Jamie Davis for Louisiana’s web site\, where you will click the “donate” button and make your donation with your credit card through ACT BLUE; or \n\n\n\n2. We can accept your personal check made out to Jamie Davis for Louisiana\, which we will hand over to the official campaign staff at the conclusion of the event.
