DESCRIPTION:Indivisible BR has partnered with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. We appreciate your donation. \n\n\n\nToday I learned about efficient food drives. \n\n\n\nOption 1: You drive to the store\, pay retail for a food item\, maybe $2 or $3; bring it home\, and drive to a collection location. Someone from the sponsoring organization collects the food once a week\, maybe at the end of the drive. The food is delivered to the BR Food Bank to be stored\, then sorted\, and then distributed. Five trips\, $3\, one food product. \n\n\n\nOption 2: You click the Donation link above and donate $2 or $3. The BR Food Bank has immediate access to the funds\, which they use to buy food in bulk. Zero trips\, $3\, 3 food products. \n\n\n\nNo donation is too small. Even $5 makes a difference. When: Every Tuesday\, 4:00 – 5:30 PM. Yes\, there’s shade along the protest line! \n\n\n\nBring a sign. Bring a chair. Bring a friend. Whether you can stay the whole time or just stop by for a few minutes\, your presence matters. Let’s turn as many voices into the many reasons we keep fighting for justice\, equity\, and accountability. \n\n\n\nLet’s be loud. Let’s be seen. Let’s remind Baton Rouge that people power doesn’t clock out at 5.
