Online Donation Drive w/Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank

Indivisible BR has partnered with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. We appreciate your donation.
Today I learned about efficient food drives.
Option 1: You drive to the store, pay retail for a food item, maybe $2 or $3; bring it home, and drive to a collection location. Someone from the sponsoring organization collects the food once a week, maybe at the end of the drive. The food is delivered to the BR Food Bank to be stored, then sorted, and then distributed. Five trips, $3, one food product.
Option 2: You click the Donation link above and donate $2 or $3. The BR Food Bank has immediate access to the funds, which they use to buy food in bulk. Zero trips, $3, 3 food products.
No donation is too small. Even $5 makes a difference. The event is ongoing through Christmas Day.
