Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s embarrassing behavior at the recent Senate Finance Committee hearing revealed a man profoundly contemptuous of the oversight process and of being required to answer to anyone at all. His at times absurd claims that anyone who disagrees with or challenges him is lying, revealed a man who knows his arguments and claims cannot withstand scrutiny and who thus seeks to discredit his critics with personal attacks.
I would like to thank Beatrice Winkler for pointing out what our leaders are obviously missing.
